"Quiet, Powerful, a Leap Ahead for Hair Dryers" 2010-04-03
By Dr. Lisa P. Turner (Boynton Beach, Florida USA)
Stop reading reviews and buy this dryer! I spent a lot of time researching hair dryers after my 10 year old dryer stopped working. This unit fits in your hand and balances perfectly, reducing arm fatigue, and the speed/heat settings are perfect. No frizz hair, it's fast, and I never thought I'd be this excited about a hair dryer. I use it every single day and what a joy.

 "A Great Buy!" 2010-03-29
By Agiftforyou (spokane, wa usa)
I bought this hair dryer before heading to college and compared to my old one it is night and day. This dryer is very powerful and does not cause frizz at all. All of my friends here ask to borrow it all the time and they love it more than I do. It is not heavy and has yet to cause me any problems. Great price for an amazing dryer

"Best hair dryer I have bought." 2010-03-29
By Lauren Huffman (Satellite Beach, FL United States)
This hair dryer was worth the price. It dries my hair quicker than any other dryer and with much less frizz. The long cord has been great for drying my dogs after a bath in the winter. We even tested the drying difference between this dryer and a basic Conair on our double-coat Aussies, this dryer cut the time in half (huge benefit with dogs and late mornings!). After a few uses, it was easy to avoid hitting the cold-air button and others.

 "Didn't last long" 2010-03-29
By April Sumner (Tampa, FL)
This dryer worked well enough for the price, but it died 2 years after purchasing it. It simply won't turn on. I've tried everything.

 "A Weighty Issue" 2010-03-20
By Greece 97 (Washington, DC)
I purchased this hair dryer online after my old Conair started failing (it had a long life). Most of the reviews made this sound like a great replacement option. While this dryer works perfectly well, I wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase it because it is SO HEAVY. I mean, ridiculously heavy for a blow dryer. My hand and arm actually get tired after using it for just a few minutes. I would have returned the dryer if it had been purchased at a local store--but repackaging it and going to the post office is a real pain. My advice...look for something a little lighter.Conair 213X Infiniti Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Technology Ionic Styler, Black

"Not same league as a professional dryer, but excellent value" 2010-04-07
By Bob From New York (New York)
I also have a professional BaByliss Turbo hair dryer ($200). I bought this Revlon model because I wanted a lightweight spare for travelling. I've compared the two on a very thick head of hair.

The BaByliss is quieter, hotter, and blows with more velocity. It comes with a nice long cord. It dried a full head of long hair in 5 minutes.

This Revlon model is quieter than a generic Conair dryer, but I wouldn't say it's super quiet. It get's hot enough, and has adequate velocity. It is definitely lightweight.

Nonetheless, the Revlon dried the same head of hair in 6 minutes, with similar "ionic" results.

Overall, hey - you get what you pay for. But, for $25 this hair dryer is an excellent value. It does the job very well. I'm going to buy another one for a gift. I'm fairly impressed with it (given the low cost).

 "Great" 2010-03-30

Well have only used it once but it is good I guess. Item arrived rather fast. I bought it along with a conair hair styler. Works fine

"Great hair dryer for the money" 2010-03-29
By Just me (Charlotte, NC United States)
I did a lot of research before buying this dryer. I wanted something that had the ion technology yet was lightweight, dried hair quickly, left my hair shiny, yet was reasonably priced. I came very close to purchasing one of the $100+ high-end driers, and I'm glad I didn't. This little guy is strong, extremely lightweight, and leaves my hair really shiny. It also dries my hair quickly. I gave it 4 stars because the concentrator attachment fits pretty loosely on the nozzle, so it tends to turn and shift position while I'm using the drier, and I have to re-adjust several times. Otherwise, it's a great buy.

 "Works Great" 2010-03-23

This hairdryer drys really well. It has plenty of power to dry hair. It comes with a diffuser which is a bonus at this price point. The only con was that the buttons could be on the side.

 "Works Great Very Happy!" 2010-03-22
By Jeanette Fox (San Diego)
I thought I would like the fingers to be longer, but it is just right. It doesn't blow my hair around as much as the other ones, so for curly hair it keeps the waves in place while drying! And the head doesn't fall off like older models did!
